If you received an e-mail about your Parent Connect account being deleted. Please read the following if not then disregard this and click on the link above to enter Parent Connect.

We had to run maintenance on the database for Parent Connect because of some other problems. And it deleted the accounts that had not been viewed in the last 30 days. I know it might of deleted your account even if you had view it in the last 30 days. You will need to re-create your account if this has happened to you. Sorry for this inconvenience but we had to clean up some files.

Information about Attendance in ParentConnection

Due to starting to update ParentConnection in November of 2007 with the Student Management Software. The attendance will not update before November 2007. Some of the attendance will show correctly some will not. When you see an UnExcused before November 2007 and you know that it is an excused absent. Then it should be excused in the Student Management Software. ParentConnection is not the reporting software to the Texas Education Agency.

Information about Grades in ParentConnection

Diboll ISD has implemented a new online program called ParentConnection. ParentConnection allows parents/guardians to view their child(ren)’s grades directly from the teacher’s grade book. You will only be able to view academic grades for students in 5th through 12th grade.

Teachers will update grades on a daily/weekly basis.  Please remember the grades you see might not include all assignments or tests that have been completed by your child. Also, keep in mind that some assignments take longer to grade than others. If you have questions about any of these items, please contact the teacher via email or phone.

Information about your Web Browser

Pop-up blockers must be disabled for ParentConnection to function correctly. Web enhancements will also prevent ParentConnection from functioning correctly. Be sure you disable pop-up blockers.

Please keep in mind the district will not be responsible for your inability to access Parent Connection, unless the problem is with our server.

Information about applying for access to ParentConnection

Before you begin you will need your child(ren)’s student Cafe ID number. You can obtain this number from your child’s report card, in person at his or her school, (you may be asked to show some form of ID), or your child may know it. The campus cannot release this information over the phone.

You will have to have an email address.

Once an application for a ParentConnection account has been submitted, you should receive an e-mail in the e-mail address that you entered in the application. In the e-mail you will receive a number to enter in the login screen. When you login for the first time.
